Our Community
Eastchester consists of the Town of Eastchester and the Villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe. Almost 32,000 people live in our area.
The Town of Eastchester is about 17 miles from mid-Manhattan. It's surrounded by Scarsdale, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Yonkers. The Garth Road section of Eastchester is served by the Scarsdale post office and uses the Scarsdale Zip Code. There are also post offices in Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville.
While Garth Road is served by the Scarsdale Train Station (32 minutes to Grand Central), we have three other stations in our town: Bronxville (27 minutes), Tuckahoe (30 minutes) and Crestwood (31 minutes). Driving to Manhattan takes about 30 minutes depending on your final destination.
Eastchester, Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Scarsdale all have their own paid police forces. Lawrence Hospital is conveniently located in Bronxville (about 10 minutes away) and other nearby medical facilities include White Plains Hospital and the Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla. Garth Road residents can take advantage of all Westchester County facilities including libraries, parks and swimming pools.
Residents of Garth Road attend the award-winning blue-ribbon Greenvale Elementary School, and the Eastchester Middle and High Schools. Click here to learn more about our schools.
